Hello, I'm Amna — a mother of two and a Montessori-trained educator with over 10 years of experience.

I've always believed that play is never just play. It is how children develop focus, work through big feelings, explore their surroundings, and begin to understand the world around them.

Sensory play has always held a special place in my heart. I love watching children become completely absorbed in textures, colours, and little discoveries — focused, curious, and wonderfully present in the moment.

Playnest began with a simple request from a dear friend who asked me to create something special for her son's birthday. I put together a sensory kit, and then came another request, and another. What started at my kitchen table gradually grew into Playnest UAE, a DED-licensed, Dubai-based small business dedicated to creating thoughtful, screen-free sensory experiences for children.

Today, every kit is still made with the same intention I had from the beginning: to design play experiences for every child with the care, thoughtfulness, and attention I would give my own.

Each creation is handmade in small batches and rooted in the value of meaningful, hands-on play.

Because Playnest was never just about making products. It has always been about creating moments of joy, discovery, and connection — one little adventure at a time.
